About the Initiative

"Voices of CIVICA" is a student-led series of video podcasts and debates designed to foster academic exchange and interdisciplinary dialogue across the member universities of the CIVICA Alliance.

Implemented by student teams at each partner institution, the series consists of conversations with professors, researchers, and industry practitioners who contribute expertise in the social sciences and related fields.

The content is published on CIVICA's central YouTube channel and other media platforms, and promoted via shared Instagram and TikTok accounts.

Format

Video Podcasts

A series of episodes where a student host conducts a structured conversation with one academic expert. Each episode features a one-on-one discussion exploring contemporary societal issues from a European and global perspective.

Video Debates

Recorded discussions featuring two or three professors from different CIVICA universities. Moderated by students, each debate focuses on a contemporary issue within the social sciences.
